Sheeltron Digital Systems has expanded its strategic partnership with NVIDIA, bringing next-generation GPU compute and AI infrastructure to enterprise clients across India and beyond. The deepened relationship spans procurement, reference architecture design, deployment, cooling, and 24×7 managed operations for AI-ready compute stacks.
The expansion arrives at a moment when Indian enterprises — particularly in BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing and research — are accelerating the shift from cloud-first to hybrid-first AI strategies. Data sovereignty regulations, sustained cloud-GPU costs, and latency-sensitive inference workloads are all pushing more capacity on-premise.
The configurations
The expanded portfolio covers three NVIDIA platforms aligned to distinct workload profiles:
- NVIDIA A100 — proven training and inference acceleration for established AI/ML workloads; suited to enterprises with mature MLOps practices ramping production-scale deployment.
- NVIDIA H200 — frontier training and inference for large language models and generative AI; 141 GB of HBM3e per GPU and 4.8 TB/s memory bandwidth designed for transformer-scale workloads.
- NVIDIA L40S — universal data centre GPU optimised for generative AI, graphics-intensive inference, and edge deployments; lower TDP envelope with strong inference economics for distributed sites.
Configurations span single-node workstations through multi-node InfiniBand clusters — each pre-architected by Sheeltron’s engineering team for the cooling, networking and power profile of the destination facility.
Why this matters for Indian enterprises
For Indian CIOs and AI infrastructure leaders, the partnership reduces three procurement frictions that have historically slowed enterprise AI deployment:
- Allocation — direct OEM relationship means GPU allocation visibility and faster lead times relative to commodity reseller channels.
- Reference architecture — pre-validated configurations remove weeks of design-from-scratch work, particularly around cooling and networking which often delay deployments.
- Lifecycle — Sheeltron’s single-partner model spans procurement → deployment → managed services → certified disposal, eliminating the multi-vendor coordination that complicates AI rollouts.
Sheeltron’s AI infrastructure practice
The partnership extension is part of a broader build-out of Sheeltron’s AI infrastructure practice, which today covers GPU cluster design, high-performance computing (HPC) environments, edge inference deployments, and managed AI operations. Engineering teams hold certifications across the NVIDIA stack alongside existing depth in HPE, AMD, Cisco and Aruba infrastructure.
For organisations evaluating on-premise AI compute — or already running it and hitting thermal or operational walls — the partnership unlocks faster paths from architecture review to production capacity.
